About Me

headshot-01.png

My name is Andrew Guidry. I am a concept designer and illustrator studying Production Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Since childhood, themed experiences have always been my biggest inspiration. Each visit to a theme park, museum, or zoo had me studying every map or pamphlet I could get my hands on. After years of exploring various mediums of artwork, I began to understand how all art forms collide to create high quality immersive experiences. Through my skills in illustration, 3D modelling, fabrication, and storytelling, I work to create joyous and innovative experiences that inspire audiences across the globe.

Throughout my education, I have had the opportunity to work on numerous student projects at SCAD, as well as direct a team in constructing a stage in an entertainment pitch for MGM Resorts. In addition, I served two consecutive internships for Universal Creative as a Concept Design Intern across seven months. At Universal, I was able to contribute and collaborate in all phases of the design effort across multiple projects in a fast-paced professional studio.  Furthermore, I have developed and produced numerous passion projects, including a Halloween character meet and greet experience held at SCAD. I currently serve as the President for TEA@SCAD, working to prepare the next generation of themed entertainment professionals for success.

Over the course my career, I strive to produce experiences that emotionally resonate with guests. With that in mind, I work to provide my passion, skill set, and sincerity as a concept designer to the professional themed entertainment world.
