A spooky Halloween experience which gives guests the opportunity to talk to a man long since dead. As it turns out, dead men can, in fact, tell many tales.
A collaborative, guest-driven experience in which guests are welcomed into a seance hosted by a mysterious cult dubbed "The Children of Bone." Here guests undergo a ritual to protect themselves and awaken the sinister spirit that possesses a robed decaying skeleton sitting before them. Guests have an opportunity to ask the demonic spirit named "Bone" questions about himself, their own lives, or even the future. Guests learn about Bone, his often conflicting backstories, and his chaotic, often lighthearted and entertaining personality. The show has a camp energy to it that is reminiscent of classic horror of the 80s and 90s.
My Role: Throughout the project, I acted as creative director, managing all aspects of the project and team from the concept to the production phases of the event. We hosted the events within my own personal apartment under a tiny self-funded budget. Hosting small groups of 3 to 5 guests, we were able to immerse them within the experience. Bone, himself, was played by a live actor in a separate room, who could received a live audio and video feed from the show room. He could then talk with the guests through a sound system built into the room. This would ensure that he could improvise and talk directly to our guests providing a more rich experience. We also utilized numerous lighting and set decoration techniques throughout the project. I am incredibly proud of the work my team accomplished during this project and encourage you to click through some of the photos!
